Celebrating our Last MOPS of Spring 2012

What do Cinderella, Ding Dongs, ping pong balls, a bunch of women gabbing, a bunch of kids singing, vegetable oil and bags of sugar have in common?  Nothing at all, unless you happened to be at the last PazNaz MOPS meeting of Spring 2012.  We went all out on May 11th, knowing that we won't meet again at MOPS until after the summer.
Cinderella and Amie talk about Princess Camp at Lumina Dance Academy

We played Minute to Win It games, stacking Ding Dong chocolate cakes on our foreheads, and trying (but failing) to stack 3 ping pong balls atop one another.  Amie Hanrahan sponsored the first game, and gave out princess pink nail polish to the winners (courtesy of her upcoming Princess Camp).  Meredith Waters gave swimming lesson gift certificate and goggles (courtesy of her Head Above Water business) to the winners of the second MTWI game.  See MTWI Sponsors Page on the right for more info.

We Fast-Talked about summer tips, watched our adorable Moppets sing for us, and made lovely scented sugar scrubs to take home.  Lorraine, a visiting mom who runs a MOPS group in Athens, shared with us all about the similarities and differences of MOPS in the U.S. and Greece.

We also said good-bye to our three graduates, whose youngest children are moving up to 1st Grade. We gave them beautiful potted Gerbera daisies with notes of scripture.  The graduates and other moms who won't be able to return next year shared kind and heartfelt words about their time in MOPS.
We hope to see you at PazNaz MOPS again when we start back up in September.  In the meantime, keep checking our Facebook page and this blog for summer playdate options.  Have a wonderful summer!
